Privacy policy
This notice describes the public marketing site as it works today: pages you can read, a waitlist, a founding-professionals form, and an email address. It does not describe the app, the practitioner dashboard, or a patient account, because those are not running on this site. When they are, they will need their own notice. We will not describe that product here as if it were already holding your data.
Who is responsible
This site is operated by Verity. We have not published a separate legal-entity name, registered office, or data-protection officer on this page, because filling those in ahead of a company that is still being built would be a fiction. Until they are stated here, write to hello@verity.online with the subject “Privacy”. That is the same inbox the rest of the site uses.
What this notice covers
It covers www-facing pages under this site, including /help and the documents under it, /features, /for-professionals, /about, and the homepage. It covers the waitlist and founding-professional forms that post to /api/waitlist. It covers email you send to hello@verity.online.
It does not cover a practitioner’s own website, a clinic you book with, your mail provider, or a social network if you follow a Verity profile there. Those have their own policies.
Information you choose to send
The homepage hero can collect an email address and whether you are joining as a patient. The waitlist section can also collect a name and an area of expertise. The founding-professionals form on /for-professionals collects a name, a work email, an area of expertise, and a country, and it is submitted as a practitioner.
You do not have to send any of that. If you do not join the waitlist, you can still read the site.
What happens to a waitlist submission today
The form is checked on the server: the email has to look like an email, the role has to be patient or practitioner, a practitioner has to give a specialty, and lengths are capped so a specialty or country stays a specialty or country.
A valid submission is added to a MailerLite group, as an active subscriber. The homepage hero and the waitlist section go into one group. The founding-professionals application goes into another. We also keep which of the three forms you used.
A success message means MailerLite accepted the subscriber. If the save fails, the form says so and nothing is kept.
MailerLite keeps the fields that form actually collected: an email, and where it asked for them, a name, a role, a specialty, a country, and which form you used.
Email you send us
Links that say “email us” open your own mail client to hello@verity.online, sometimes with a subject already filled in (Help, Correction, Privacy, Press, and so on). The message travels through your provider to that inbox. We did not put a contact form on About or Help. The form endpoint stores a waitlist signup or a founding application, and a press note or a help question is not one of those.
If you email us, we will have whatever you put in the message, your address, and ordinary mail metadata. We use that to reply. We do not use that inbox as a marketing list.
Technical data from visiting the pages
Hosting a website means the server sees ordinary request data: an IP address, a browser and device description, the page asked for, and the time. Our hosting provider necessarily processes that in order to serve the page. We have not installed a separate analytics product or advertising pixels on this marketing site.
What this site does not collect
There are no user accounts on this marketing site. There are no document uploads. You cannot send us a passport, a licence scan, or medical images through these pages. Practitioner credentials will be stored privately when verification opens; that is a later surface, not something this website accepts today.
We do not ask for payment details. No money for a consultation or a procedure passes through Verity, and this site does not take a card.
Why we ask for what we ask
Email is so we can tell you when early access opens. Role (patient or practitioner) is so we send the right message. Name, specialty and country, where they are collected, are so a launch list can be segmented — not so we can build a public profile from a waitlist row. A practitioner waitlist entry is not a listing.
How long we keep things
MailerLite keeps a subscriber until we delete them. We have not set a shorter retention period. Correspondence you send to hello@verity.online is kept as email for as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a record of the request — corrections, for example, are something we should be able to look back at.
Your requests
Write to hello@verity.online with the subject “Privacy” if you want to know what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We can look up a subscriber in MailerLite and delete them. Mail you sent us lives in the inbox, and we can delete that too.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect waitlist information from children. If you believe a child has submitted a form, write to us and we will delete that submission.
People outside the country from which the site is served
The site can be read from anywhere. Serving it means request data is processed by the host where the host operates. Waitlist and founding submissions are stored by MailerLite. MailerLite publishes that subscriber data for this platform is kept in the European Union, and that an account billed outside Europe is served by its United States company. We have not designated a lead supervisory authority on this page. When we have a formed company, this section will say so.
Security
Pages are served over HTTPS. That is the beginning of due care, not a claim that a system is impenetrable. Do not send medical images, licence scans, or passwords to hello@verity.online unless we have asked for a specific document through a channel built for it — which this marketing site has not.
The product we are building
The app and dashboard will hold more: profiles, messages, booking requests, verification documents. Each of those is a later surface with its own privacy duties (lawful basis, retention, access, deletion, subprocessors). This notice will not be stretched to cover them in advance. A new notice, or a clearly marked revision of this one, will ship with that product.
Changes to this notice
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Moving these submissions from Formspree to MailerLite is the change dated above.
